CRISP VS COBBLER – WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE?
Crisp is a traditional recipe that is baked with berries filling and crunchy from the top. Crumbler is the 2nd name of this recipe. Cobbler is similar to crisp but on its top, you can add biscuits or pie dough. Usually, to make crips topping oats, flour, and butter is used but I’m gluten-free. So in its replacement, I used almond flour and gluten-free oats to make the topping. What a delicious dessert recipe filled with berries, juicy and crunchy.
CAN I USE FROZEN BERRIES INSTEAD OF FRESH ONES?
Yes, of course you can try the out these frozen ones in replacement of the new ones. There is no change after using the frozen berries and you will get the same flavor. But before using put the berries on your kitchen shelf from the freezer.
